Great hotel, I will definitely bring the family next time!

Spacious room when sharing with a friend, we had two beds and two separate sofa's to use. The hotel was clean and the facilities were amazing. Buffet breakfast had so much choice one could never get bored.

Beautiful place to stay in Sicily

Breakfast at Mangia's Torre Del Barone Resort was quite good. The location is perfect for a peaceful rest, and the rooms with a sea view are absolutely incredible. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel interior is beautiful.

There was no Wi-Fi connection in the room at all.

In general we had nice stay but not worth the money that we paid for 5* hotel

The hotel is very nicely designed and decorated almost all the rooms has nice sea view and the breakfast was nice and good quality the beach is not far from the hotel 5 minutes walking and the beach is sandy and clean

we came as family have booked 2 rooms for 4 nights and I choose to have one of the room with upgrade features and pay extra for that but what we get is 2 identical rooms and when I asked the receptionist that what I booked is different they say it was mistake from booking.com that photo of suite !! And did not give any compensation or do any change The resort is far little from surrounding that is ideal to stay there only and no much entrainment for small kids , and forget about wifi or internet connection they could not fix it and it seems it is general problem and lifts are very old and most of the time is not working

Beautiful resort but does not reach 5* level

This is a beautiful resort with gorgeous views. The facilities and rooms are clean, fresh and modern. Each room has a sea coast view and private balcony/terrace. The hotel has its own beach access and a swimming pool. The breakfast was diverse, many fruits, vegetables and other meals. The personal is welcome and pleasant. Upon checkin we were offered a schedule of activities for the week, we haven’t used them. It is nice to stay here.

There was only one swimming pool although two are featured; the indoors one was closed. It’s overcrowded there and it’s not large. The pool has no separation between adults and kids, so it is not enjoyable to stay there, simply because it’s loud and kids are playing everywhere, even where one is supposed to enter - feels not comfortable to come on a child either, no rest. For a 5* resort this is a big minus to have only one swimming pool and no separation. The water in the pool is too cold. The WIFI does not work properly anywhere except for the reception, although it is said that they have wifi in all areas - again, for the 5* resort it is highly expected. For dinner, the hotel offers a la carte menu restaurant that works only twice per week (it is very nice and has beautiful views, but portions too small), another option is an overpriced buffet and a pizzeria that is often fully booked - better to drive 15 minutes to the town and eat seafood there. I would suggest the hotel to fix more options for dinner. There were only two operated elevators in different parts of the building, which work very slow, so it’s better to take stairs - shouldn’t be like that for such a resort.

A nice stay in a quiet part of Sicily. The beach is average and a bit of a walk but the pool is onsite and excellent. Av

Clean, spacious hotel with an excellent swimming pool and ample sun loungers. The room was also very spacious with a terrace overlooking the sea that was fantastic. The hotel is in a less touristy part of Sicily which we liked. The gym is small so you need to book a one hour slot at reception which is limited to one booking per room but the equipment is decent in spite of the size. Crucially, I believe it’s the only place in the hotel you can access water. There is a really cute shuttle bus/train to take you to the beach which is fun to ride. It is however a little unreliable and inconsistent so would suggest walking to the beach and getting the shuttle back.

Would highly recommend not having lunch or dinner at the hotel. Food is an overpriced buffet and is truly terrible. Assuming you have a car, there are far better alternatives in town at half the price with much more variety. A Nespresso machine was provided in the rooms but you are only given capsules for the first day’s stay which is poor form when paying so much for a room. Easily fixable. Coffee at breakfast which is only available from a machine is awful which made the shortage of capsules in the room all the more frustrating. Easily fixable. Had a massage at the spa. Having booked in advance, turned up 10 mins before but when we got there we were told we had to pay for the treatment in advance at reception upstairs. This obviously took time and was a bit irritating too as we walked up and down the hotel and ultimately when we were seen to by the receptionist we were allowed to add the charges to our room as you’d expect. Inevitably this led to the massage starting a little later but predictably finishing on time. Can’t help but think this is a bit of a ploy to reduce your treatment time.

Mediocre.

The rooms where nice and large. Lovely views and hotel location was peaceful. The beach was lovely and quiet.

The hotel is a not dated and needs updating. The buffet for breakfast or dinner isn't ideal and it definately not a 4.5* hotel like advertised, more like a 3.5*. The kids club is not open on Friday which was never mentioned and the hotel predominately caters for french tourists, not english. The family entertainment was terrible! We spent a hour trying to guess one of the staffs' weight, height, shoes size! Not my idea of fun! I requested the largest family room, but it wasn't as big as the photos so I complained and they gave me a bigger room! I would have booked this from onset if i knew! The natural pool is very dated and need to be updated. The outdoor pool is ok, but small. There was not literature about facilities. Everything closed between 12.30-3.30pm which includes bar and kids club!!! They should put table tennis out all the time.

Very big Italian resort hotel and completely full when we stayed there. Lovely outdoor pool and the grounds were great too. Rooms were comfy and well laid out with a nice balcony and a view of the sea.

Lifts were a bit illogical and very shaky so a little concerning.
